Lensbabies are a hybrid-type of lens, created by combining an old-fashioned bellows camera and an uptight tilt-shift lens. To use, simply focus your Lensbaby lens by moving the focusing collar in and out with your fingertips. Move the sweet spot of the area you are focusing on around the picture by bending the lens left, right, up and down, similar to how you would a fluid tilt-shift lens. This lens will help to give you a unique new look, with gorgeous blurring, glowing highlights, and subtle, prismatic colour distortions, all without software manipulations. Lensbabies offer four aperture settings: an impressionistic f/2.8, the versatile f/4 and f/5.6 and the f/8, which is quite sharp but still has the benefit of providing soft edges. Using a system similar to antique Waterhouse stops, you can quickly change the look by swapping the aperture disks.
